Rules of the Realm

Draft rules: staff may refine them before the gates open.

1. Stay in character

In Pywel you are your character. Out-of-character talk belongs in OOC channels, kept short.

2. No metagaming

Your character only knows what they have learned in the world, not what you saw on a stream, in Discord or elsewhere.

3. No powergaming

Give others a fair chance to respond. Don't force outcomes on other players' characters.

4. Value your life

Act as if your character fears death and injury. Facing six armed sellswords alone has consequences.

5. Conflict needs a reason

Attacks, robberies and kidnappings need a roleplay reason and an exchange first. Random killing is not allowed.

6. No cheats or exploits

Modified clients, cheat tools, and abusing bugs are banned. Report bugs to staff instead.

7. Respect people

Villains are welcome in character. Harassment, hate speech or targeting real people out of character are not.

8. One account, your account

Don't share accounts or use extra accounts to dodge a ban.

9. Staff have the final word

If you disagree with a decision, follow it in game and appeal calmly afterwards.
